Our Story

We’re Liz Liu and Isabel Rice, co-founders of Southern Mahjong Co. What began as a love for American Mahjong and the community it creates has grown into private lessons, curated events, fundraisers, corporate gatherings, and retreats across the Southeast.

What we love most about Mahjong isn’t just the game. It’s the connection around the table and the way you feel after playing with old friends or new ones.
